I like how these add some height without looking like a typical pair of platform fashion sneakers. The horse leather has a nice textured finish, and the lace-up design keeps everything fairly simple. They're a bit more substantial on foot than low-profile sneakers, but I actually enjoy that look.

The washed-waxed finish gives these sneakers a more relaxed look than a bright, polished leather pair. If you prefer a crisp and uniform surface, the natural-looking texture may take some getting used to.
