I like that these have a slightly old-school feel without looking dated. The eel-embossed finish is subtle but interesting up close, and the buckle makes the whole design feel more intentional. I'd probably wear them with simple outfits so the leather texture can stand out.

These are easy to wear with simple pants and knitwear because the leather already has enough detail on its own. The eel embossing is subtle from a distance but more noticeable up close. I had to move the buckle one notch to get the fit where I wanted it.
