I really like the worn-in look of the brown leather. The metal details add something different without making the shoes look too busy. The leather feels a little structured at first, but I actually like how it holds its shape.

I was mainly drawn to the oil-waxed horse leather because it has more depth than smooth sneaker leather. The finish changes a little depending on the light, which gives the shoes some character. I did have to loosen the laces slightly around the front for a better fit.
