What caught my eye was how subtle the snake texture looks from a distance. The black color keeps the shoes versatile, while the waxed finish makes them feel less plain. The surface may need a little care to keep its finish looking nice, but I like the overall look.

The low-profile shape is probably my favorite part. They look clean with straight-leg jeans and don’t feel as bulky as chunky sneakers. I do wish the sole had a little more cushioning for longer walks.

I wanted a black sneaker that didn’t look too sporty, and this style works really well. The slim shape and textured leather make it easy to pair with trousers as well as denim. The fit feels a little structured, so I’d probably wear thinner socks with them.
